To support each child’s Journey of Growth, Dawning Stars Daycare, a leader in Alberta Early Learning and Child Care, connects families, communities, environments (both indoors and outdoors), educators, and our child care program — altogether Foundations of Growth — to enrich the vibrant lives of the children we care for. Our highly trained and educated staff implement programs that support each child in pursuing their independent growth journey, combining an observation of the child’s strengths and interests with individualized planning designed to challenge and explore them. 

Dawning Stars Daycare offers a variety of engaging and creative experiences that target all of the seven Domains of Growth: Cognitive, Sensory, Social and Emotional, Mathematics and Science, Creative Arts and Music, Language and Literacy, and Physical and Well-being. Through these domains, parents and families gain insight into the different ways each child is learning, growing, and experiencing the world around them, and understand the support they can provide to facilitate their development.
